The day after I got home Mama and I went down to Utah County to meet a doll friend. Her name is Caroline, and she is a very nice lady. She thought I was so cute. But you know the best part? She has a daughter that is my age! Her name is Mari. Mari loves to travel, loves the color purple (like me!) and met Valerie Tripp in NYC!
We met Mama's new friend at a pretty garden called Thanksgiving Point. We walked all around looking at the pretty fall colors and enjoying one of the last days of warm weather. Mari and I ran around and even pretended we were princesses in the rose garden.
And guess what is in four days? Halloween! Inky is coming to visit. I'm the luckiest girl in the world, I think.

Oh Violet, you are totally the best. I am so lucky to get to be in your blog! We loved our afternoon with you at Thanksgiving Point and the Halloween treats you gave me were the BEST surprise. I am saving them on my dresser because they're pretty and they remind me of you and your mom, who is so cool and nice and fun.
Guess what? I am getting some purple shoes just like yours. They're really cute. I'll wear them next time we get to play.
Have tons of fun with Inky! She's awesome. I hope I get to meet her some day. Tell her I'm jealous that she gets to live in New York. That's where me and my mom wish we could live.
Anyway, thanks again for putting us in your blog! This is the first time I've ever been in a blog, as far as I know.
Your friend,
Mari
Hi Violet,
I've been following your blog for awhile now, and your travels have just fascinated me. You should write a book! Keep it up!
XOXO
